In the 2025 FIRST® Robotics Competition game, REEFSCAPE℠, teams dive into an underwater challenge. Two alliances of three robot teams each compete to revitalize a "coral reef ecosystem". Robots harvest "Algae", "Coral", and return to their "Barge" to ascend to the ocean surface. Alliances earn points by placing coral on different levels of the reef, with higher levels worth more. They can also cooperate with their opponents to earn additional rewards. The game combines autonomous and driver-controlled periods, requiring teams to strategize and adapt to succeed in this exciting underwater adventure.
